What image formats are supported?
Any format your browser can read: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, and more. Output can be JPG or PNG.
Does resizing reduce quality?
Shrinking generally looks fine. Enlarging a small image will make it blurry — there is no magic way to add detail that was not there.
Can I resize multiple images at once?
Currently one image at a time. For batch resizing, process each image individually.
What does 'lock aspect ratio' mean?
When locked, changing width automatically adjusts height (and vice versa) to prevent stretching or squishing.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser using canvas. Your image never leaves your device.
How do I resize without cropping or stretching?
Leave the aspect-ratio lock on (it's the default). The image scales proportionally, so nothing is squashed or cut off. If you type both a target width and height, it fits the picture inside that box while keeping its original ratio. Only switch the lock off to force an exact width × height, which will distort an image whose proportions differ.
Can I resize by a percentage, or to fit a maximum size?
Yes. Use the 'Resize by' dropdown to scale to a set percentage of the original, or switch to pixels and enter a width (or a height) — with the lock on, the other side follows automatically, so it lands on an exact target without distortion.
